update my computer is working!!!!

Wrestling has began. JJ has has two round robins 4 out of 6 are wins. 3 he pinned the kid. way to go little man. The girls have been doing good in school they are wanting to do sports soon. Luke is spoiled as ever with my parents and Auntie and Uncle probably because he sees them about four days a week.

I have been pretty busy myself, wrestling babysitting sick kids, and planning the Rodarte family holiday dinner.

Where have i been!!!!!

Well that is just it, there is no excuse I am a facebook junkie. Here I go family updates..... Julian-has been working down in Shelton, what a drive. No hunting for him this year his choice. He pretty excised about JJ wrestling this year. Me- not much new with me just spending my days with Luke while kids are in school. I have bveen watching a little girl from church for extra cash. She is 7mths I have her 3 days a week. Other than that same old thing kids school chasing Luke clean house and cook all in a days work :). Selena-turned 10 this year. In the 4th grade this year doing great. She is actually in a 4th/5th split. She got her Wasl test results from last year and she did amazing reading 460/500 and math 550/550 she is so smart must get that from Grandpa Sand Sand. Natasha-turned 8 in july and is in 3rd grade. Doing awesome!!!!! Her reading has improved and likes her teacher this year which is a plus. JJ- has a birthday coming up and will turn 6yrs old. My little man started Kindergarden this year. Wrestling started this week and JJ is doing good. Last but not least MY Newborn Luke- I wish ihe is so big,turned 1 in August. Gets to spend his days with mommy. Actually he is nothing like the other kids he takes lonnng naps and when its bed time he decides gets sippy and blanket and waits at bottom of stairs to go to bed.
July thru September we had a house full my cousin Madalynn and her family was staying with us. They now live in Auburn and I sure miss Alex the newborn I was there when he was born so I get to be the favorite Auntie :). More to come next one not so long.

Now for the girls

I just had to report on the girls also. Natasha has been having trouble in spelling. Well she came home with a test that was 100% We are so proud of her. Keep it up Tasha!!!!!
Selena also came home with exciting news, her reading level is up to 6.0. That is like a six grader and she is only in 3rd. Way to go Selena!!!!

JJ's Field Trip and Luke's BIG Day!!!

Today was exciting for JJ. We went on a field trip to the fire station. While we were there our tour guide had to rush off on a call, which all the kids thought that was cool. But we were lucky and another firefighter was able to finish the tour. JJ thought is was cool that his dad use to drive a truck like the one he was in. He wasn't born yet when Julian was with Pacific Fire Department. Over all it was a fun day. (Luke loved it too)

Okay, I have to say my baby is getting too big toooooo fast. After we got home for the fire station. I put Luke down to change him. He decided it was time to roll over :( It is exciting but he is still little, a newborn as Larissa would say.

This after he rolled many times. He is a pro now.

He will always be our Little Guy because JJ is The Little Man.

Monster Trucks and Football

Grave Digger on Friday night. It was a fun night for our family. But for a family that was there it was the worst night of their life. A part came of a truck during free style and hit a six year old little boy. It did brain damage which he later died. Keep your prayers with this family.

We shared this night with my parents, Jared, Peyton, Andy, Aaron, The Lawsons, The Thomas and even our cousin Sara and her family.

I just had to take a picture of my handsome nephew Brandon. He had wrestling sub-division this Saturday which he didn't fo so good. But he still has State.

Luke didn't join the family at the monster truck but was able to spend the night with Uncle Jerry and Auntie April , Brandon. And I know for a fact he was spoiled.

Well these are my handsome men. Today we have invited family over and we are watching (well I am not) the play-offs.

Selena- She has been doing real good in school. All she likes to do is read to reach her AR goal at school.
Natasha-her school work has been doing much better. Unlike her sister she doesn't enjoy reading, but has improved.
They both love spending time with their cousins. And can't wait to stay at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

WOW!!! ITS BEEN ALMOST A MONTH!!!

Okay, I know its been along time. The past few weeks have gone by so fast. Here is a list: Christmas, Our getaway, New Years, Uncle Mike getting a Kidney, sleepovers (kids didn't think they need to be home), wrestling (JJ, Brandon, Dylan, Kyle) Snow, Ice, and yes FLOODING. But yes everything is back to normal (if you can say we are normal)

Okay call us crazy but it wasn't a vacation without having the Thomas kids (-1 the newborn) over for a sleepover. And an American Idol Contest. This was on the Saturday before school started. And yes WE had to get SEVEN kids ready for church . Lets just say Missy and JR, I am glad I only had four :)

Holiday tournament JJ took 2nd. Rising Star tournament he took 3rd. Which this picture was taken with Carter and His buddy Evan.

Yes a family event at wrestling Luke loves it he gets held ALL day!!

Now onto the big boys wrestling Brandon has been doing good had some tough matches. Dylan didn't wrestle on meet coaches didn't want him to wrestle bigger guys but he also has been doing good. Finally I was able to see Kyle, it was down in Elma High (yes, it was a drive but hey it was my nephew) It is his first year and he is doing awesome. First match maybe twenty seconds and he pinned the guy. So after that we had to eat because its like two hours in between each match. For the second match again pinned the kid, as for the last we didn't stay it was already five. The third his coach told Kyle to go out and get some practice wrestling and not pin the guy, so he did and something he did wrong coaches started yelling at each other but the referee didn't see it so didn't call it (that was good) at this point Kyles coach was so mad he said to him "okay now you can pin him" and that is what he did. So exciting!!!!

As for Uncle Mike he is doing well at home. After his kidney transplant. His New Years Eve party was at the hospital but it was well worth it. Our prayers are with him. Denise Heiser is also doing well at home after her heart attack. She had a triple BI pass. Get better to all of you.

Last but not least FLOODING, yes LJ and April had to evacuate to to high rivers in Orting. They were able to spend the night at our parents for one night then went home the next day with no damage. Thank God!!
